  • How do I register my child for a program?

    Registration is completed online through our website. Simply select the desired program, complete the required information, and submit payment to secure your spot.

  • Does my child need experience?

    No, we welcome players of all levels of experience and they will learn the game from experienced coaches and staff.

  • How often do you practice?

    Practice varies per team. The coaches will inform all parents of the dates for practice

  • What is included in the registration fee?

    Registration fees typically cover league administration, scheduling, officials (if applicable), and facility usage. Uniforms, equipment, and tournament fees may vary by program and are noted during registration.

  • What is your refund or cancellation policy?

    Refunds are case by case. All refund requests must be submitted in writing and emailed to Belvidereyouthbaseball.Org

  • How can I contact the organization with questions?

    You can contact us through the email address or contact form listed on our website. Our team will respond as quickly as possible during regular business hours.

  • Are volunteers or coaches needed?

    Our programs rely on volunteers and people to be coaches  If you’re interested in volunteering, you can indicate your interest during registration or contact us directly. by email at Belvidereyouthbaseball.org

  • How will I receive updates and announcements?

    All updates are sent via email and rain delays will be posted on the facebook page. Please ensure your contact information is accurate so you don’t miss important communications.

  • Are games played on holidays?

    Holiday schedules vary by program. Any planned games or breaks will be communicated in advance.

  • How are coaches trained or screened?

    To be considered for a Coaching position within our program, you must fill out an application.  If selected, you will be expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct policies and represent your team and the league in a positive matter at all times. 


    All Coaches have different strengths and weaknesses within their skill teaching abilities.  The one skill they should all have in common is leadership.  The rest becomes not as impactful when coming from inconsistency. Coaches will be required to complete background checks .

  • What is the organization's code of conduct?

    All BYB Coaches must abide by the Coaches Code of Conduct.


     When players are around Coaches who carry themselves with a quiet confidence, who are compassionate, who handle adversity with mental toughness and who treat them, the other Coaches, the players Parents and the Umpires with respect, by the end of the season, you will see a group of young athletes who will have acquired these same qualities.
